Roadmap to Success: MBA Admissions

As a former admissions officer at Michigan Ross and a career veteran of Uber and Silicon Valley, I bring both sides of the MBA equation to every engagement. I keep my roster small so each client gets the depth of attention that makes a real difference.

Why I Do Things Differently

I built my practice around doing less, better: fewer clients, deeper work, real results.

Both Sides of the MBA Equation

My career has taken me through both sides of the MBA world. I spent two years as an Associate Director of Admissions at the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business, a top-10 program, reviewing thousands of applications. I know how admissions decisions get made.

I also spent five years at Uber in Silicon Valley, starting in recruitment and talent acquisition before moving into Chief of Staff, and Strategy & Planning (program management) roles. I’ve been recognized with multiple awards at Uber during my tenure and was a featured Speaker at the Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) in Chicago in 2025. I understand the careers that MBA applicants are working toward because I’ve built one myself.

I started this practice because the best advice comes from someone who’s been on both sides. My practice is small on purpose. I work with only a handful of clients each cycle, which means deep, iterative feedback, direct access to me, and the kind of honest, informed guidance you won’t get from a larger firm.

My Edge Is Your Edge

I don’t just help you get in. I help you think about what comes after: a career goals essay that reflects a viable path, a narrative that resonates with admissions officers and future employers alike, and positioning that sets you up from day one.

How We Work Together

A structured, end-to-end engagement, not a menu of disconnected services. Every phase builds on the last to produce applications that are cohesive, authentic, and compelling.

Step 1

Discovery & Strategy

We start with a deep dive into your background, career goals, and target schools. Together, we build a personalized application strategy that covers school selection, timeline, and a candid assessment of where you stand.

Step 2

Story Development

Your application needs a compelling narrative thread. Through structured conversations, I help you surface the experiences, values, and ambitions that set you apart, then weave them into a clear, cohesive personal narrative.

Step 3

Application Execution

This is where the heavy lifting happens: essays, resume, and recommendation strategy. I provide hands-on coaching and line-by-line feedback through iterative rounds of review until final submission.

Step 4

Interview Preparation

Multiple mock interviews with detailed feedback, school-specific behavioral frameworks, and strategies to communicate your story with confidence and authenticity under pressure.

Step 5

Final Review & Submission

Before you hit submit, I do a thorough final review of every component, checking for consistency, impact, and any gaps. Nothing goes out the door until we're both confident it's your absolute best work.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before getting started.

It's a candid 30-minute conversation about your background, goals, target schools, and timeline. I'll give you an honest assessment of where you stand and whether working together makes sense. There's no obligation and no sales pressure.

Because quality requires constraint. Most firms spread their consultants across far too many clients, which inevitably leads to generic advice and slow turnaround. By keeping my roster small, I can give every client deep, iterative feedback, fast responses, and genuine depth in every conversation.

Ideally 6 to 12 months before your target deadline. That gives us time to develop strategy, build your narrative, and iterate without rushing. Because I work with so few people at a time, availability can be limited, so reaching out sooner is always better than later.

No, and you should be wary of any consultant who does. What I guarantee is that your application will be the strongest it can possibly be. I'll also be honest about your realistic chances at each school, so you're never chasing false hope.

For targeted help on a specific essay, school, or milestone, I offer Hourly Support packs (5, 10, or 20 hours). This is the right fit if you only need help with one part of the process. The full packages are best when you want end-to-end depth across multiple schools.

All meetings are conducted via Zoom. Between sessions, you'll have direct access to me via email and messaging for quick questions, draft feedback, and check-ins. You'll never be waiting for a response.

The big firms assign you to whichever consultant has availability, often someone juggling dozens of other clients. With me, you get one person who knows your story inside and out from day one to admission day. No hand-offs, no junior associates, no assembly line.

Let's See If We're a Good Fit
